Will there be food available at the Eucharistic Congress?
There will be food trucks available to purchase food in Jacksonville: El Gaucho Grill Argentine Cuisine, Frozen Sweets, Pizza Brigade and Viva Mi Familia. The food trucks will be parked across the street from the main church in a wooded area that is also used for picnics. Chick-fil-A will be selling lunch at tables set up outside the church, too.
Participants are welcome to bring a cooler and tailgate in the church parking lot or the picnic area. (See venue maps under Event Details/Venues and Directions). Also, there are several restaurants and fast-food chains in the vicinity of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandarin where you can get lunch. Some of the restaurants include:
Can we bring outside food/drink into the St. Joseph/Queen of Peace churches?
No, food and drink are not permitted in the main church. However, you are welcome to tailgate in the parking lot or picnic in the designated wooded lawn area at St. Joseph’s.
Are both parish event locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes, both St. Joseph and Queen of Peace parishes are wheelchair accessible.
Are tickets or registration needed for the Congress?
There is no fee to attend the Eucharistic Congress in Gainesville or Jacksonville. Everyone is welcome so bring your friends and family!
How much is parking?
There is no charge for parking. There is plenty of parking at Queen of Peace in Gainesville and St. Joseph in Jacksonville.
What time do the doors open for the Eucharistic Congress on Friday and Saturday?
The doors open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gainesville, and at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jacksonville.

There will be closed captioning on Saturday, June 10, starting at 8:30 a.m. in Jacksonville for Mass, Bishop Pohlmeier’s keynote address and English track speakers. When will the sacrament of reconciliation be available?
Reconciliation will be available on both days of the Eucharistic Congress. The only time confessions will not be heard is during Mass.
