Catholic Days at the Capital
February 10 to February 11
The bishops of the seven Catholic dioceses that span the state of Florida will gather for the annual Catholic Days at the Capital in Tallahassee to advocate for the protection of human life and dignity, as lawmakers continue the important work of shaping Florida’s laws and future for the common good.
This year’s Catholics Days are scheduled for Feb. 10 and 11, and some of the activities during the two-day period will include:
- A legislative briefing on policy issues affecting human life and dignity
- Pre-scheduled meetings with lawmakers and/or their aids
- The opportunity to view the legislative process in action
- A breakfast for Catholic Days participants, Florida’s bishops and legislators
- A group photo of each diocesan delegation with its bishop
