Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children on Jan. 22

Bishop Erik Pohlmeier and the Florida Catholic Bishops have released a joint statement that observes Jan. 22, 2023, as marking 50 years since the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade. There will be a gathering at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22 to commemorate the day at the federal courthouse, 300 N. Hogan St. in Jacksonville. Bishop Pohlmeier will be attending this event.
