What is Courage/Encourage?

Courage is a spiritual support group for men and women with same-sex inclinations. The primary goal of this group is to live chaste lives in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church regarding homosexuality. The support group meets every week on Tuesday nights, and the meetings last for an hour.

Encourage is a spiritual support group for family members and friends of loved ones who have same-sex inclinations. It also welcomes anyone who wants more information on the pastoral care of homosexuals. The meetings occur every two months at the Catholic Center. Guest speakers, such as local psychologists, therapists and physicians who specialize in same-sex issues usually address the meetings.
