Jubilee of Consolation: A Night of Remembrance and Peace

All are invited to a special evening of healing and prayer on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, 101 San Marco Ave., St. Augustine. This Jubilee event offers a sacred space to bring your grief, hope and longing before God. It is especially meaningful for those who are experiencing pain or affliction due to bereavement. The evening includes Mass celebrated by Father Edward Rooney, opportunities for personal prayer, and conversations with consolation ministers, spiritual directors and Catholic therapists. Attendees may honor loved ones by adding their names to a remembrance poster and placing a small cross in their memory. No registration is needed.
