Jubilee 2025 | St. Joseph the Worker
May 3 @ 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Join us for this Jubilee of Hope event honoring St. Joseph the Worker. This event invites all workers across the diocese, especially those on the margins, to come together in a joyful celebration. The day will focus on the virtues of St. Joseph and the Church’s social teachings, highlighting the dignity of labor and the value of every person. The program will feature a multicultural procession, Mass, reflections, music, testimonies with summaries in multiple languages, and a presentation by Nancy Rivera, formerly of Catholic Relief Services. Participants will also be invited to make a personal commitment inspired by St. Joseph to uphold the dignity of work and live out their faith with love, compassion and mercy. Pope Francis, in preparation for the Jubilee, reminds us that “work is an essential expression of human dignity” and calls on all people to recognize the importance of labor as a means of serving the common good and building a more just and fraternal society. This celebration offers an opportunity to respond to the pope’s call to honor the value of every worker, especially those who are most vulnerable. The coordinator of the event is Norma Garcia and can be reached at ngarcia@dosafl.com or call 904-262-3200, ext. 108. Click here for the 2-page flyer (English and Spanish).
