Join the Fight Against Human Trafficking: Become an Ambassador and Make a Difference!
Florida ranks #3 in calls to the human trafficking hotline because we have high trafficking activities but we also have increased public education and awareness. Be part of the solution by becoming an Ambassador for the Northeast Florida Human Trafficking Coalition. Ambassadors volunteer at public events, raise awareness, educate the community, and inspire others to take action.
The next training is on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Department of Juvenile Justice Offices, 7596 Centurion Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32256. The training is free, but you must be 18+, submit an application with a letter of recommendation, and pass a background check. Background checks are completed by the Coalition JSO members once your application and letter of recommendation are received. The letter need not be long, can come from a current or former employer, coworker or fellow volunteer and verifies that you are reliable and comfortable talking to the public.
