3rd Friday Concert Series

Join us on Sept. 20 at St. Patrick Parish, 500 NE 16th Ave., in Gainesville, for the 3rd Friday Concert Series featuring “Ever Ancient, Ever New II: Sacred Music from the Last Millennium,” a choral concert directed by Kori Spiropoulos. Experience traditional and new Catholic chant and polyphony performed by a 24-person North and Central Florida choir. The concert will include plain chants such as Creator Alde Siderum and Victimae paschali laudes and modern compositions from renowned composers. This event is a celebration of sacred music and its significance in the life and liturgy of the church. Vespers begin at 6:40 pm, followed by the concert at 7:00 pm.
