Encounter Christ: A Night of Faith, Worship and Community
Join us for an unforgettable evening of faith, reflection and community, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, 101 San Marco Ave., St. Augustine.
This Jubilee event begins with a Mass at the outdoor Rustic Altar, celebrated by Father Mac Hill, setting the tone for a powerful encounter with Christ. Following Mass, participants will take part in a Eucharistic procession along a path lined with displays of Eucharistic Miracles, honoring soon-to-be Saint Carlo Acutis. This sacred journey offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and be inspired by Blessed Carlo’s deep devotion.
During XLT, a special time of Eucharistic Exposition, Maggie Craig will deliver the keynote address, sharing a message of hope and encouragement for the young Church. XLT, which stands for Exalt, is an experience centered on worship and adoration of Christ in the Eucharist. This time of prayerful reflection includes praise and worship music, led by Matthew Crews, inviting everyone into heartfelt participation. It also incorporates guided prayers, helping us focus our thoughts and intentions, and moments of silence, allowing space to contemplate God’s presence and listen for his voice.
The evening will conclude with a beautiful Benediction, leaving all renewed and strengthened in our journey of faith. We look forward to gathering together in prayer, worship and fellowship—come with an open heart and experience the presence of Christ in a powerful way.
