Bishop Erik Pohlmeier and his brother bishops in Florida invite you to join them in Tallahassee for Catholic Days at the Capitol, an opportunity to advocate for the protection of human life and dignity. This annual event brings together Catholics from across the state to put their faith into action during Florida’s legislative session.
Catholic Days Activities Include:
- Legislative briefing on policy issues impacting human life and dignity
- Pre-scheduled meetings with lawmakers or their aides
- Witnessing the legislative process in action
- Awards breakfast with Florida’s bishops and legislators
- Rosary led by the bishops of Florida
- Group photo with Bishop Pohlmeier
Special Event:
The 50th Annual Red Mass of the Holy Spirit will be concelebrated by Florida’s bishops on the evening of March 19, the feast of St. Joseph. This Mass offers prayers for those serving in Florida’s legislative, judicial and executive branches.
