Join us at San José Catholic Church for the 6th Annual Blessing of Homeschool Families Mass and Reception on Monday, Sept. 23, at 5:30 pm. Bishop Erik Pohlmeier will celebrate the Mass, offering a special blessing to families who have chosen homeschooling as a way to fulfill their baptismal promise to train their children in the Catholic faith. As stated in the Order of Baptism of Infants: “In asking for Baptism for your children, you are undertaking the responsibility of training them in the faith” (#39). We honor and celebrate the diverse reasons families choose this path and invite you to join in this special celebration.
