The first National Eucharistic Congress in over half a century in the United States is July 17-21 in Indianapolis. While about 40,000 people will attend in person, most Catholics will participate from home. Here are some suggestions for engaging with the Congress remotely:
Watch the Livestream: ETWN, a major sponsor, will share which parts of the Congress they will livestream. Visit eucharisticcongress.org for updates and plan a “watch party.”
Attend Mass: Attend Mass daily at your parish in solidarity with the Congress. Our diocesan group will attend the 8:30 a.m. Mass, except Sunday’s 10:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated by Cardinal Luis Tagle, Pope Francis’ delegate.
Educational Video Series: Watch the locally produced series on the Mass, covering topics like the Liturgical Year, Silence and Reverence, and the Liturgy. Each video is in 15-minute segments with discussion questions. Find them on the diocesan website’s main page by visiting https://revival.dosafl.com/video-series
Special Holy Hour: Spend a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament, praying for the event’s success and a deepened love for the Eucharistic Lord.
