St. Patrick’s Day

As St. Patrick’s Day approaches, we are excited to announce two significant celebrations in our diocese at two parishes named after St. Patrick. This year, the feast day coincides with a Sunday Mass, adding to the specialness of the occasion. The first celebration is a feast after the 11 a.m. Mass with Bishop Pohlmeier in Gainesville at 500 NE 16th Ave. The second celebration, a parish picnic, will be held after the 10 a.m. Mass at 601 Airport Center Drive E. in Jacksonville. This event is particularly noteworthy as it marks the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Jacksonville parish.

St. Patrick is well-known for his ministry in Ireland, but his full story is truly fascinating. If you want to learn more, keep reading on Faith Syndicated at Saint Patrick | Faith Syndicated
