Catholic Charities Jacksonville provides seven major programs, including Emergency Assistance. They are the largest provider of emergency financial assistance in our community.

The goal of the Emergency Assistance program is to prevent homelessness by helping families who are facing eviction or the loss of utilities due to a recent financial crisis. Short-term assistance with rent, mortgage payments, utilities and food is provided. All proceeds raised by the Festival d’Vine fundraiser will support those efforts.

Last year, the Emergency Assistance program served more 13,000 individuals and distributed more than 135,000 pounds of food to those in need in the community.

Tickets are $75 for individuals and $50 for those 21-35 years of age. Sponsorships are still available and run from $500 to $10,000. Please call Kelly Kunkel at (904) 899-5505 or visit www.ccbjax.org for more information.
