Memento Mori Mission with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR)
November 1 @ 8:00 pm to November 2 @ 5:00 pm
The Memento Mori Mission with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR) will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, and Saturday, Nov. 2. This two-day event offers an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and community connection.
- Friday, Nov. 1: The event begins at St. Joseph Parish Youth Garage in Jacksonville at 8 p.m. with a wine and cheese social, providing a relaxed atmosphere to meet and connect with others before the mission.
- Saturday, Nov. 2: The day continues at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church in St. Augustine, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will engage in prayer, service, and listen to talks from the Brothers, with ample time for community fellowship.
Founded in 1987 in the South Bronx of New York, the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal (CFR) follow in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi, committing their lives to prayer, service to the poor and spreading the Gospel worldwide.
All are invited to experience this mission, which encourages reflection on Memento Mori—a reminder to live with the end in mind and focus on what truly matters in life.
