Feast of St. James
12 p.m. to 9 p.m., National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, Castillo de San Marcos, Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine
Celebrate St. James with us! The event begins with the veneration of the St. James statue and the St. James Fair at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche. Join us for a procession of the statue through the streets of St. Augustine, followed by a Mass and reception at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. More details coming soon!
- Noon to 5 p.m. Venerate the Camino Statue of St. James in the Shrine Church
- 3 to 5 p.m. Learn more about St. James & the Camino at the St. James Fair on the Shrine Grounds
- 5 p.m., Meet near the Rosary Garden to process the St. James Statue from the Shrine to the Castillo de San Marcos
- 6 p.m., Meet on the Castillo grounds to process the St. James Statue from the Castillo to the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine
- 7 p.m. Feast of St. James (bilingual) Mass will be held at the Cathedral with Bishop Erik Pohlmeier
- 8 p.m. Reception open to all, following Mass in the rectory courtyard behind the Cathedral
