St. Luke's Hospital
On April 12, 2008, history was made when St. Vincent’s HealthCare took over operations of St. Luke’s Hospital, one of the cornerstones in the Jacksonville healthcare community. The move will extend St. Vincent’s historical mission of serving the sick and the poor to the Southside of the North Florida community of more than one million residents. St. Luke’s Hospital is full tertiary hospital. This includes a fully functional emergency department, surgical services, inpatient units and radiology services.

St. Vincent’s Health System
St. Vincent’s Hospital is a private, Catholic non-profit healthcare facility with 528 beds. They acquired St. Luke’s Hospital in Jacksonville on April 12, 2008, the oldest private hospital in Florida and in July 2009 received a certificate of need to build a new hospital in Clay County.
