With the St. Vincent de Paul Society – charity and justice go together. Members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society are not trained as social workers, as our mission is to bring the good news of Jesus to the poor. We do that by first taking care of their physical needs whether that is food, rent or clothing, but also by helping them seek a remedy for an unjust situation.
There are 16 conferences in the Jacksonville District Council that covers geographical areas of the Diocese of Saint Augustine through parishes. The St. Vincent de Paul Society serves the needy through the parish conferences.
